UMass Boston Researchers: Pesticides Negatively Impacting Crustaceans, Fish Food Source

New studies coauthored by Associate Professor Helen Poynton and Kaley Major, a PhD candidate in environmental studies, find that pesticide use, particularly for home and garden care, are negatively impacting the communities of the shrimp-like crustacean Hyalella azteca and causing harm to our freshwater resources.
