Student Clubs & Societies

Student Clubs, and Societies do much more than provide you a social outlet. These professional, recreational, service, and social affiliations facilitate a well-rounded education. By design, membership in these groups or involvement in student activities allows students to gain skills in personal leadership and collaboration. With a myriad organizations on campus and in the School, our students have the opportunity to develop and hone a variety of skills.

UMass Boston is founded on the principles of access and opportunity.  We value diversity and work for social justice and a sustainable future. It is no surprise that a major component of clubs and societies in the School for the Environment is a focus on good citizenship and giving back to the community.
